Deep in the depths of “White out” lays a female face, which has been hidden and wiped out by black cream and white strokes.
From a distance you wouldn’t be able to tell, but from a close in amongst the little bumps of texture, remains a small hint of the red and orange colours from the female face, which lays behind the depths of this work.
The title “White Out” was given because this woman was whited out in plain black-and-white strokes out of sight.
The black and white strokes of this painting make it appear quite minimalistic, and it would fit in many decors. The work looks quite simple from fair away but from close up you can see it hides many mysteries.
