“Street Sharks”

When I begin painting “Street sharks”, the first colour that I mixed up and used was that beautiful blue colour which can be seen making up the base and majority of the work. This colour reminded me of a cartoon I used to watch called “Street sharks”.
Once the memories of the cartoon struck in my mind, I was unable to get it out of my head. I then continued to paint with the inspiration being the nostalgia of this particular cartoon.
This work is from my series “Get Lucky”.
“Get Lucky” incorporates items I have collected which represent luck and luxury.
The series explores the mind set of wealth and things associated with it. Many associate the success of an individual with the mind set they just “got lucky”.
In this series the theme is repeated and depicted throughout with scratchy tickets and designer labels to represent luck and luxury.
This painting has been listed with three options option one unframed.
Option two framed in a black washed timber timber
And option three framed in oak timber. All three options have been shown in the images above.
personally, I believe the black timber frame looks stunning on this piece however, depending on your decor, you may opt for a traditional light oak frame.
